Mentorship Program
At this time, we are excited to offer three low cost mentorship groups. We believe in cultivating community, educating, and supporting new clinicians regardless of financial situation. We understand how poorly paid mental health clinicians are -- especially in the early stages of one's career. It is important to find support networks, especially when early in one's career when finances may preclude one from this privilege. Feel free to reach out if you have questions about our model or would like to join!
TESTIMONIALS
"Jewel is a one-of-a-kind person, therapist, and intuit. Training with her is what it's like to spend time with a master in their field, learn practical skills to utilize with clients while building confidence within yourself as a clinician. She has an incredible ability to reach a person where they are, understand them on a deep level, and create space to process past and present lived expereinces from trauma. somatic, and relational perspectives. Being able to see and witness this through this program has been invaluable. In addition, learning, practicing, and working with other like-minded therapists in the field and grow my own network has also been invaluable."

"I found Jewel's program to be compelling, rewarding, and challenging. I learned both about the biological processes of the trauma response along with tangible somatic skills I could incorporate into my daily work. I appreciate the balance Jewel brought to the class, switching between lectures and skills practice. As a result of this experience, my treatment philosophy has shifted and my therapeutic toolbox has increased!"

"Jewel is a wise and incredible teacher! This program gave me the confidence to utilize somatic interventions and understand my own nervous system more in depth. I highly recommend this program as it has forever changed and enhanced the work that I do."

"Jewel's mentorship training program was an amazing opportunity and I am so glad I got to be a part of it. Somatic therapy and Polyvagal theory both piqued my interest as I'm working to find my niche as a newer clinician. Jewel is so knowledgeable on the subjects and made the material approachable and interactive week after week. She's a great teacher -- creative, encouraging, patient, and receptive to questions. I highly reommend learning from her if you get the chance.

Current Offerings
Please note that level one is required prior to other modules. Group times will be determined after enough interest is shown. A survey will be sent with time options on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.
Somatic Skills Group
This group aims to support clinicians interested in somatics to deepen their understanding of their own nervous systems, physiological responses, and utilize this awareness in therapeutic contexts through transference and countertransference dynamics. We will practice somatic based exercises in a large group setting with some opportunities to have small group discussions.
**This is a skills group and is not intended to work with psychological issues. For some, somatics can be too activating and it may be better to skip this group until regulation is restored.
